The American Copper Buildings under construction in New York City are going to boast a hot tub, pool, bar and lounge. But these are not your typical indoor amenities. Instead, the 91m high Sky Bridge itself will be home to these open-air items. What else will residents have access to in the towers? How about an indoor lap pool, an infinity pool, a rooftop deck, a fitness centre and state-of-the-art spa.
Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by luxury developer JDS Development Group, the American Copper Buildings are expected to redefine the landscape of rental units. Yes, you read that correctly – from studios to three-bedrooms – all the units will be rentals. Or perhaps better defined as luxury-rentals!
