It marked the end of what was regarded at the time as the deadliest wars in human history. Since this significant historical event, November 11th has been recognized around the globe as a day dedicated to fallen and currently serving soldiers, war veterans, and their families. We owe them dearly for the sacrifices they made and continue to make in the fight for freedom.
